SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.

SASSA will be rendering expert services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency mentioned it is alarmed concerning the substantial amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a higher number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The services issue designed for intervention activities a substantial influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it sassa status hard with the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more resources to help the servicing of all prospects and enhance access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
